How I Got Here
From Goldshire to Big Tech
I recently moved back to New York and saw the reemergence of fireflies in my area. I have not seen them in years! Furthermore, I read that fireflies are experiencing some sort of extinction due to chemical and light pollutions, hopefully that won’t be the case. I met up with one of my old buddies, and he said it was amazing to see me again. He said that we literally haven’t talked in about a year, but we reunited, and it was like nothing has changed other than the updates that we had over the course of the year. I replied that that’s how it should be. A good friendship should function that way. Even if I haven’t spoken to someone in a long time, and we had a close friendship, I’d be more than happy to meet that person. We see fireflies almost in a (sadly) cyclical nature, akin to friends going through different stages of life. I see the fireflies, and we immediately pick up where we left off.
I’ve had many things change in the last month, left California to move back to New York, started a few new hobbies, started a new business venture, it’s a lot of stuff to write about but life is moving very fast. I like it this way for now.
